Residential and Respite Dementia Care

Ashdene Care Home

Ashdene Care Home, part of the Mountain Ash Care Group, stands in its own grounds with enclosed, secure gardens to the side and rear of the home. The home is situated close to Sleaford town centre, enjoying views across Lollycocks field, Cogglesford Mill, and the River Slea. There are pleasant walks along the riverbanks into the town and open countryside with a small cottage restaurant opposite the home. The town centre is easily accessible, offering the opportunity to visit shops, the market, the library, the railway station, craft centres, cafes and restaurants.

The management of Ashdene Care Home pride themselves on offering a highly professional care service for people who have a dementia. We are pleased to accept residents for long term, short term or respite care. The home is registered to accommodate 41 men and women over 18 years.

The home owners, Michael Hunt and Joan Scott, are fully committed to providing staff at all levels with quality training appropriate to their role within the Home.

Home Closure Information (March 2020)

We would like to make everyone aware that, due to precautionary measures regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Ashdene Care Home is currently closed to all but essential visitors. We are constantly following government advice, using all the necessary infection control protocols to make sure that all residents, staff, and essential visitors are kept safe. Please bear with us during this time.

We have canceled all visiting entertainers but our own activities coordinator is continuing to keep our residents entertained. Residents are being informed of the situation and any messages from their relatives are being passed on to them. If you would like to 'face time' or Skype with your relative then this can be arranged.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the care home. We hope everyone keeps well and we look forward to getting back to normal again.
